Golf Solitaire is about clearing all 35 tableau cards by playing exposed cards that are one rank higher or lower than the waste card. Suits do not matter, and you can change direction during a run.

Only the exposed card at the end of each tableau column can be played.
A legal card must be exactly one rank higher or lower than the current waste card. If the waste shows a 7, you can play an exposed 6 or 8.
Suits do not matter, and you can reverse direction at any time when the ranks allow it.
Empty columns stay empty and cannot be reused.
The waste pile starts empty, so draw one card from the stock to begin.
After that, you may draw whenever you want, even if a tableau move is available.
There are no redeals.
If the stock becomes empty, you can still keep playing as long as a legal tableau card matches the waste.
Easy allows Ace–King wrapping. Aces can connect to 2s or Kings, and Kings can connect to Queens or Aces.
Medium removes the Ace–King wrap. Aces connect to 2s, and Kings connect to Queens.
Hard also removes wrapping, and a King ends the run. You can play a King on a Queen, but you cannot play a Queen after that King. Aces still connect to 2s.
Lower scores are better.
If cards remain when the hole ends, each remaining tableau card adds one stroke.
If you clear the tableau, unused stock cards reduce your score. That means negative scores are possible.
You can play either 1 Hole or 9 Holes. In a nine-hole round, the scores from all nine holes are added together.
