How to Play Hearts
Avoid penalty points in this classic four-player trick-taking game. Each heart is worth 1 point and the Queen of Spades is worth 13. Pass three cards each hand, follow suit when you can, and finish with the lowest score.

Passing
Each hand, pass three cards. Direction rotates: left, then right, then across, then hold (no pass). The game tells you when it is a hold hand.
Tricks
The 2 of Clubs leads the first trick. Follow the led suit if you can. If you cannot, you may play another suit. Highest card of the led suit wins the trick and leads the next.
What to avoid
Hearts and the Queen of Spades are the penalty cards. Taking them raises your score.
